So, What if Jesus was not Raised from the Dead?

In 1 Corinthians 15:12-19, Paul offers six disastrous consequences if there is no bodily resurrection for believers. If there is no resurrection then:

1.  Jesus has not been Raised (15:13)

2.  Our Preaching is Ineffective (15:14a)

3.  Our Faith is Empty (15:14b)

4.  We are Liars (15:15–16)

5.  You are Slaves to Sin (15:17)

6.  There is no Eternal life (15:18–19)

"The gospel is the good news that the everlasting and ever-increasing joy of the never-boring, ever-satisfying Christ is ours freely and eternally by faith in the sin-forgiving death and hope-giving resurrection of Jesus Christ." ~ John Piper

"The resurrection is not merely important to the historic Christian faith; without it, there would be no Christianity. It is the singular doctrine that elevates Christianity above all other world religions." ~ Adrian Rogers
