As the book of Ruth comes to a close, it begins with famine and ends with a feast. It begins with death and ends with life, as Ruth and Naomi are redeemed by Boaz. As a widow is made empty, then full. And from this union of Ruth and Boaz will come a son, and a future great king, and the coming King of Kings, as we look at the three blessings of this redemption.
