In Matthew 10:24-42, Jesus gives six unavoidable realities of being His true disciple. The true disciple of Jesus Christ will:

• Follow the Example of His Master (24-25)
• Fear His Master Rather Than Men (26-31)
• Fully Confess His Master (32-33)
• Even Forsake Family For His Master (34-37)
• Follow His Master Even to Death (38-39)
  Be Fantastically Rewarded by His Master (40-42)
